I did have higher hopes for Fabbricotti, but it's always another race!

Looks like I missed this year's action! I love all of these shots!

By watching the oars, it seems to be that it involves lots of precision.

I love these shots. But these guys look like they're really working hard. Is there much of a time difference between say, 1st and 2nd place, etc. I mean is it just seconds or milliseconds or longer?

I agree with jacob. You really convey the fact that this isn't all fun and games. These rowers are really working.

There's something about men competing that makes me want to just scream my head off and cheer them on! haha. In this case, I think I'd root for Fabbricotti because you took such a great photo of them in action :D

It's exciting to click and see all those tanned muscles, uhh, I mean all that teamwork. :)

So they tow the boats at the end? That one is an interesting picture especially.

Very good shots... and interesting blog, I've added it to my blog list on the side bar of my blog.

@ Jacob - This time the first was a boat's length ahead of the second. The third was within several seconds, the rest after a minute or more. But this is a harsh and very long race.

I like the team spirit of rowing, though I haven't tried yet!
God bless you!

Thanks VP...I figured the times would be close. Can you imagine how the arms of the rowers must be burning by the end of the race? Sheesh!

Excellent shots! I like the first one looking down on the boat. It looks like a 10 legged beetle.
Great action shots. MB

I agree with Dina re the tanned... teamwork.

The men's synchronized oarmanship must be quite a sight.

I get tired just looking at these photos. They must all have fantastic arms.

Funny shaped boats - not the usual sleek looking things. On the other hand, don't know much about rowing. Wonderful photos.
