@ Jacob - Each quarter has its own “cantina” to organize and support the partecipation in our rowing competitions. Tonight we'll see the “Coppa Barontini”, a chronometer race along the “Fosso Reale”.
@ Dina - Staying in the water they get sediments and dirt, like any other boat, which make them slower. These “gozzi” are delicate and cost a lot of money, so they stay in the water only during the actual rowing and after that they are cleaned up thoroughly.

Looks nice, but what does a "nautical club" in Livorno do?
I like the "stones" landing.
Love that tight first shot of the improbable outdoor livingroom with that seasoned wall behind.
A good chance for us to see the inside of the gozzo with the little seats for the rowers.
Why is it up on a pontoon?

Looks like a cool place:)
I love those colorful couches! Are they there all the time?
The first shot looks like a cozy sitting room on the water and then in the long shot we see more of whats going on. Nice. MB
The first shot is so different, I mean about the surrealistic idea of a living room just there! Cool post!

I was about to ask the same as Dina, but you have already answer and it makes sense.
I think I may practise rowing and emigrate to Livorno.
I would have liked to walk along here and see the daily life both on land and on the water.
