I neglected to inform you about the redigging of the old canal in “Viale Caprera”. The first part is almost complete and in these pictures of about one month ago you can see how the works are going. In background the new bridge of “Santa Trinita” and the “Fortezza Vecchia”. They are digging up to the old shoulders of the canal, which have been already reinforced with micropoles. The workers are placing rebar on the bottom, where concrete will be poured later.

Lots of digging.
Looks to be a rather massive job. But I bet it will be very nice once it is done and a fine addition to Livorno's already considerable charm!
This project is moving along nicely!
That is a big project. I think you mentioned it awhile back.
It would be fun to go watch it and be a sidewalk superintendent. MB
I seem to remember that you wondered why they were doing it. Do you still wonder?
They seem to be pretty busy:)
Imagine doing that without the aid of modern equipment.
wow that is a huge work!I think they are going well there!

This is quite a project.
That looks to be a big job! You'll have to show us what it looks like when they are done.
Once it's done, we can forget about the concrete and rebar. I hope it looks old and romantic.
Well that is a lot of WORK!! I like the way you have composed your shots. their bright colored clothes add
color and brightness too.
Have a nice weekend!
Wow, now THAT is a dig!
