The Bank in the Container

Piazza Attias, Livorno
The local branch of a bank is undergoing some works and it is ready to operate temporarily from a container of sorts placed in Piazza Attias.

After complaints from some shop owners the structure, now painted in white, was moved to the back of the square.

How interesting! It certainly looks much better painted white. Pretty funny, too. I can imagine someone saying, "Well, I'm going to get some money out of the container." :)

Wow! Weird. I'm not sure Americans would be inclined to entrust their savings to a "container". :-)

Interesting looking, "container"! Our small town post office is unstable due the sloping land and they have closed it. Moved the business to other super-tiny post offices. No containers for us!

It is hard to understand how a bank could operate out of a container like this, given the need for strong security.

Great post VP. Container money.

How neat! It seems someone might want to come and just load the thing on a truck to literally rob the bank - the whole bank!

That doesn't seem like a very secure way for a bank to do business.

Not very strong looking!

Ouch. I'd rather do business at Coin!

That is an eye-catching building they own. I like all the curves.

All banks should look like this.

Well I've not seen a bank in a tank before VP :) The Coin building in the background is a nice piece of architecture.

I guess they must have some sort of security .....
The building and the architecture is nice and will probably look even better with a make over.

The bank does look better painted white. I can see why shop owners would complain.
