Cathedral of San Francesco, Piazza Grande, Livorno

Beautiful architecture. Would make a nice place to view some art.

Is that good news or bad?

The building is very symmetrical. Hope the new museum will be interesting and attract some visitors.

Dina - Probably just words...

I thought it was a good idea, but if they are just words...?

So what do you think about that? In some ways, I like it, and in other ways I'm wondering if the church should be spending that money to more directly impact people who might need it...

This is a fabulous pic. Hope the museum won't disrupt this view.

It's such a lovely building but art would have been cool...

Could be pretty controversial. What's the feeling there?

A nice church.
It reminds me of a church I visited in Trastevere in Rome, many years ago.

I hope they will fill the gallery with beautiful art.

It sounds like a good plan to me, but someone from the outside is not really in a position to evaluate.
