I am used to seeing olive wood used only for religious pieces. Your market has useful things. Maybe you could give these ideas to the olive wood people in Bethlehem.
I love olive wood whenever I see objects made of it, be it in Italy, Greece, Tunis or Turkey. Do you know those objects have to be rubbed from time to time with olive oil in order to maintain his nice aspect? At least I was told so by people in Tunis.

@ Traveling Hawk - You are right, my dad used to work some olive wood as a hobby and often did the same thing.
