Beautiful details.

I like the flirting scooters! You always find the best stories with autos and such. :D

Okay, you got me laughing out loud at this post. Love that last one. I want the blue scooter. It would match my golf cart and I could take it on the road!

The skinny lamp post and its accouterments is too funny! Kinda dumb-looking lamp post.

I think no news is good news...we've pretty much given up on local TV news...they don't give "news," just police reports. Very stupid.

Thanks, Trillian; I really enjoyed your comments!

On one hand very peaceful indeed, yet over here as well, mostly the free newspapers are strangly missing for the last couple of days, which might be the other hand, waiting behind with a lot of surprise...please have a peaceful Tuesday.

Fantastic post. I'm trying to imagine the news here! Ah, the French love of picketing, blockades, strikes, generally speaking crippling the country... and then wondering how the Germans do it with their flourishing economy. Thankfully, I have poetic Italian scooters to make me smile and a forlorn lamppost seat to rest (though I'm not sure I'd want to sit on it really).

I agree with Ciel, it's a fantastic post, I imagine many stories in your pictures, it's a great exercise of our imagination, thanks a lot! :)
That last romantic picture is my favorite, with the couple of scooters chatting, it's brilliant! Ant those scooters are beautiful! :)

You're on a creative roll! So much to see everywhere but an untrained eye would miss most of it.

You found some pearls for this post.
Like the lamp post furniture and gas cylinder.

It's been too long since I've been on one your delightful walks, VP. These days we're better of with no news; what we don't know can't hurt us, right? And the flirting scooters... :-D
