The “Moby Corse”, built in 1978 in Denmark as “Dana Anglia”, is our local new entry in the Looney Tunes-liveried ferries of the Moby Lines.Don't worry about the smoke, you usually see some only when the vessels are maneuvering, never in ordinary navigation.A quite happy bunch, while the ferry is going slowly in reverse to her berth.

Advertising. I cannot look at the "Moby" without thinking of the Herman Melville classic, Moby Dick.

I always love your shots of these ferries...they are so...fun and light-hearted!
Jan beat me to it; I, too, immediately thought of Moby Dick.
Just amazing how these cartoons can change the look and feel of a ship.
I'm wondering if we couldn't add some to navy vessels ... ;)
Lol, these really are a hoot. I wonder what the Corses make of them though.

They sure look a bit different these ferries.
Has to be a fun time on those ships.
Very cool indeed! I especially enjoy Sylvester on the chimney.
I can't get over the size of those boats. MB
I love all those characters!
che bella idea, i bambini saranno contenti.
ciao simona
Cool pix. I love the dark sky. I always wonder why these boats need camouflage to break up their outlines. Weird thought, but I always wonder the same thing.
Do you think all these advertisements really boost sales for the Ferries?
This was what I grew up watching every sunday morning! Love how all the characters are scattered around the big ship! :)
