I took a lot of pictures in the days of the 27th TAN, last April. I am not sure about what these people were doing but the name of the boat, “Lodoletta”, is the title of a minor opera of Pietro Mascagni.Seamen on an inflatable boat for routine trips from the “Porto Mediceo” to the “Accademia Navale”.During a practical lesson around the port, a boatload of students of the Nautical Institute “Alfredo Cappellini” can have a close look at the tug “Alfredo Neri”.

You sure love your boats. And takes interesting photos of them.
Great pictures. Love them.
I think I know why you chose these photos today. Is it still hot? We have cold weather and still wear jackets and sweatshirts most of the time.
I always love your ship/water shots! That second one is especially nice! And I like the hands-on training provided by the Nautical Institute.
"Tug or no tug" that is the question. One day I will post a photo about that. Anyway, enjoy your holiday both of you.
Many boat loads for sure. I like the 'Lodoletts' and would like to have a boate like that.
Super shots. MB
I agree with Jacob, I'm also enchanted by your pictures and I love the second one.

The first one looks like a wedding party.
These are excellent shots.
So many different kinds of boats! I just find it so amazing.
I love all the boats you show us from Livorno. I especially like the first one today. They don't look like your typical sailors.
I love the color and the way the water looks in the first two pictures!
You're so lucky to get a look at so many different types of boats and ships in your port! Thank you for sharing :D
Wow boats of all shapes and sizes. Must be very interesting to watch and fun to photograph.
Once again the blues are wonderful! I especially like the top and middle shots.
So different, the boats.
I would love to be in any or all of them.
