Still roaming the streets of the “Shangay” quarter, we have found this proud lion “marzocco” watching the walls of a house. We have already seen the house of the azulejos, but we missed this composition in a corner of the garden.
LDP meets VDP
As you probably know we are in Paris and yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure to meet our fellow blogger cieldequimper of Versailles Daily Photo. We had a nice dinner together and we spent some great time chatting.
Thanks, ciel, for your time and hospitality...

Nice shots VP.
As I said on Ciel's blog, I wish to much I could have shared in this get-together! Y'all are some of my very favorite people! So glad that you got a chance to meet and dine together!
This makes me smile!!! I'm so happy to hear about this!
Did you converse in French? Italian? Both?
The bust and the shell reminds me of still lifes used in art classes.
i love the first photo of the lion. very cool that you and Cieldequimper had dinner. it is fun to network with fellow photo bloggers.
Lechaim! to you all.
Your time together must have been as colorful and warm and fun as these glasses.

The only time I was able to meet Ciel the horses tore down the back fence and I had to stay home and fix fences. Wah!!
So i am glad for the three of you. MB

So nice, both the fact that you met up, and the colorful glasses as a symbol.

@ brattcat, Hilda - The conversation was definitely in English...
Oh that must of been a fun afternoon! Are you taking photo's in Paris, too? :)
The statues are very pretty, especially the lion! It looks very brave!
I guess this is not one of the "stupid-face" lions?
Sounds like everyone had a good time in Paris! And I like those glasses.
Beautiful composition with the big shell!
Have a great time in Paris!
P.S. So, did you manage eating your breakfast after visiting my blog? LOL!
Same story here. The occasional proud lion depicted in the form of a statue. I wonder why.
Very fun! I like how you and Ciel posted the same, well ALMOST the same, photo.
How fun that you and Ciel both posted the glasses. It's fun when bloggers can meet. We enjoy a nice community.
