I'm still laughing! This is a wonderfully funny post...so interesting with great colors...and yes, you've got some ships the likes of which I've not seen before. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Them's some big boats. But isn't there another one called "Moby Acqui" or something like that? Do more than one boat have a "Moby" designation?

What a collection of strangeness!
The backhoe is so funny!

Lol, they are all funny! Bastia? No wonder the Corsicans striked!

Is that a cowboy running away from Claudia Schiffer?

I'm always happy to see the boats in Livorno. You get such a variety!

Fun photos! Especially like how small the scraper looks on top of all those containers ;-)

These are fantastic! What a cool post, VP! I just love the red and blue little boat, it reminds me of the one we've chosen to travel on the Beagle Channel (Tierra del Fuego, Argentina) instead of the big catamarans with 100 tourists aboard! :-)

And I'm with JM on this one. The little boat aiming for matching colours is adorable.

@ Trillian - Hi! Re your comment on The Villages...actually, the store was jammed with people buying things; the clerks were harried and it was like a zoo!

There are not many people on the street because 1) they were inside the store, and 2) a concert was getting started across from the store in the town square.

The photo gives the wrong impression, I'm afraid. :-)

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on our blogs!

That's a fun collection of ships! No ocean near here - no ships like that here!

Neat shots. Tug boats ate so tiny and work so hard pushing those huge boats/ship around. MB

Wow, what an amazing collection of ships and great photos. I do love port cities - there's a magic about them, an air of anticipation.

I especially love the two boats in blue and red - like a whale keeping watch on her baby.
