Door Knockers

I am fascinated by old door knckers, you can still easily find some original ones around here, like this one in “Via Maggi”.Opposite “Palazzo de Larderel”, in “Via de Larderel”. A knocker not in very good shape in “Corso Mazzini”.In “Via Magenta”, clearly not original but it is eye catching.

I like door knockers, too...unless they're Mormon missionaries or Jehovah Witnesses...

Nah, just kidding...I do like your kind of door knockers. I can't recall seeing anything similar around here...

I think I'm more used to seeing the ring-type door knockers. There are very artistic looking, especially the one in the third photo. Nice ;-D

Great series of door knockers. Who'd have guessed there was such a variety.

Strange, I've been going around looking for knockers too lately!

I especially like the first one.

They are superb!!! I'm also fascinated by door knocers and handles and take photos of them every time I come across one.
It's difficult to decide which I like the most, but I think it's a first one.

As I have said before, you have eyes for details.
These are really arty and nice. Thanks for sharing.

They are very serious.
Were you ever tempted to try one and to knock really loud?

Oh, how quaint. No bells, then? Doors must be really thick if you simply can't knock with your knuckle.

Love your knocker photos.

I like the contrast between the old and the new.

Your city has such great hardware. I'm surprised it hasn't been stolen.
