Another Walk

Santa Giulia, the Patroness of Livorno, watching over our hospital.Someone has lost these precious keys in “Corso Amedeo” No camper vans or caravans are allowed in this parking in “Piazza Maria Lavagna”.In “Via San Gaetano” sweet words of love and a brutal advice: “set yourself on fire, she doesn't care about you”.Same street, somebody really hates this number.

A very interesting set of photographs...showing perhaps the good and the bad of Livorno...

I wonder what's wrong with the number, 14? If seven is a lucky number, then twice seven should be twice as lucky!

The "sweet words of love" seem a little brutal!

You ran into some very opposite emotions on this walk.
I love the contrast of the kid keys on the man pipe.

I had keys just like those a long time ago. You just take the most fantastic walks!

When's your next walk? Tomorrow? Is it a holiday in Italy too?

I like your walks so much - this one is not an exeption:)
Shame about number - maybe it's where she, who doen't care, lives?

Uh oh, someone is not getting into their house tonight! You'd think they'd notice when such big keys drop out :D

It's me again - as I sad, please feel free to use whatever photo you want.
By the way, I can't find your bench blog -is it on blogger?

Brutal advice indeed. Wow. Somebody must have gotten really hurt in the past.

And somewhere in Livorno, a young baby is crying for his keys…

This was a melancholy walk. I'm glad you took it and brought us along. Perhaps you felt less melancholy after.

Seems like the good people of Livorno are quite opinionated.

Some very interesting details. I feel sorry for the person who lost their keys!

Another interesting walk! I like the way that gold statue looks against the beautiful blue sky.

Though I agree that Leontyne had a wonderful voice, I'm no fan of Carmen at all!

@ ciel - What kind of holiday is it in France tomorrow? I am missing something and I have to go to work!
I agree about Carmen, but Bizet wrote my favorite opera, Les pêcheurs de perles, so I can forgive him anything..

You have a passionate city. I LIKE the sign for "14." I'm sorry someone else hated it. I also hope the person who lost those keys can get back into their house.

I think those keys belong to B Squared and his Yugo.

I strolled and scrolled through the days I missed--fascinating. What a lovely town Livorno is. MB

Impressive variety of finds (you already got us used to them on your walks)!

If she doesn't care about you, why not set HER on fire? Love those colorful keys.
