What's a phone booth? :-)

They look horrible. Over here, very few people still use phone booths.

I haven't seen a phone booth in years.

We don't have any more phone phoots here in Finland for a years, so that's why I like these. They are "ancient monuments" :)

I guess they aren't still in use, are they?

I'm surprised to see phone booths, never mind the weeds. I wonder if they are in operating order.

Re your comment: I wouldn't be surprised if people take up swords. Guns don't seem to be enough these days. :)

Sort of like a little greenhouse. :)

I hope the weeds don't take over!

I don't think we have any left in DC.

Sign of the times. Where's my cell?

Definitely not well taken care of. The phones are very different from what we see here, and booths are a rarity. One's more likely to see the odd payphone in office towers or malls as opposed to out on the streets.

I hope they stay there a long time, as reminders of what once used to be before mobile phones started growing at the tip of our fingers. And the weeds add a nice touch.

I think they're all gone here too.

It's quite unusual to still see phone booths, we have some here in the city also VP>

The last working pay phones are gone in my area. Poor things, they look so lonely!
