Our rowing season has become increasingly boring because of the superiority of the Venezia team. Two rowers of the Benci-Centro, nicknamed “Ovo Sodo” (Hardboiled Egg) for its colors, are relaxing on the jetty of their “cantina” just before the “Coppa Ilio Barontini”. The race was then won, as always, by the Venezia.

Yep, well named, as I can see. :-)
Wow, that should be your shot of the year!
BRAVO!
What a great shot :-)
Vatican flag colors, but oh so different -- great shot!
Exactly the right moment for a picture!
What a funny and wonderful photo. So, what can be done about the Venezia? Legally, I mean!
I wonder if some of those Venezia guys are pictured out practicing in the header photo on my travel blog site. I took the photo somewhere in the Venice lagoon.
Hard-boiled egg.....great nickname.
Now, that's funny!
Sharon - When I say Venezia (Venice) I mean a quarter of Livorno. It takes its name from the many canals and bridges crisscrossing it.
You really can't miss those shirts!
You got a lovely slice of (non)rowing life!
What a wonderful shot VP. Great one my friend.
You made me smile VP, the resemblance to hard boiled eggs is unmistakable :)
Oh my! I will never look at these uniforms without thinking 'hard-boiled" eggs. ;)
