Seven Years After

Villa Regina park, Borgo dei cappuccini, Livorno
The first time I visited the park of Villa Regina was in the summer of 2009 and I wrote my impressions in this post. I didn't feel the urgency of coming back to the place for the best part of seven years, but a few days ago, passing by, I managed to take this shot of the entrance boulevard. Maybe one day I will summon the courage to re-visit the rest...

A pretty spot. Quite a long time between visits.

Come on, VP, you can't tease us like that without revisiting the park.

It looks nice here. But reading your post of 2009 I do understand why your fear of going again.

Lovely tree lined path.

It looks like there's perhaps a bit more shade than last time. Maybe you will build up the courage to re-visit one of these days?

Looks like a peaceful park, the perfect place for a walk on a cool morning. Perhaps you can post some current photos of it?

I like the contrast of the green foliage and grass with the reddish soil. I'm glad you went back so we can see more. ;)

The trees look a lot fuller and greener and give more shade than on your previous visit.

Maybe more nice murals appeared there in the past 7 years :)

The trees are beautiful and I wonder if the paws are still there...
