Italian Wall Lizard

Italian wall lizard, porto di Livorno
I was waiting for a container ship to pass, when I saw this lizard darting from a rock to a wall...

I used to be fascinated by these little guys when I was a kid.

This little guy is nicely colored, ours are merely gray...

Until I saw the link, I thought you had made up the name Italian wall lizard. :)
It's beautiful.

The first one I saw was in ITALY years back.
Don`t think they would like it here. Too cold I guess.
On the photo it looks like a stylish model, with a nice pattern and colours.

Looks very familiar...I think we've got millions of them, or at least ones that look very similar. Our cats love to catch them, torture them, bring them in the house and show them off! But they're great little critters 'cause they eat bugs and mosquitos!

Very cool. I rarely see lizards of any kind here in Canada!
