On the stone banks of our “fossi” we can find a lot of green: a whole tree near the bridge of “Piazza Cavour”.Another one in the tract in front of the “Benci” elementary school.A cascade of green on the northern wall of the “Fortezza Nuova”.

It is still green!
Walls of hope.
Please have a good Sunday you all.

Nice to see the green in these photos. All of my green is now brown due to the change of the seasons.
You still have green this time of year. How nice.
We are green all the time because we get so much rain.
I guess you are really 'going green'. LOL MB
I love the attitude of plants that are determined to grow even in tight places.
This post reminds me of works written about the vegetation of the Western Wall.
All those bushes, trees or even leaves mean life, and life on those bare stone walls, is hope! Have a nice Sunday!
It's a wonder, both because of being and green and mainly for its ability to hold to life on...
...a wall!
God bless you!

i like the cascade ;)
Your greens spilleth over.
I believe both are fig trees (top and second shots). It's amazing how they always manage to thrive on walls. The cascade of green is awesome!
@ JM - I think you are right: once and then I have spotted small fruits on them.
Ya, BROWN is the color these days around here... just brown, golds, burnt orange.
Nice subject, the last photo is my favourite this time:)
Now that is very cool.
I really like it when mother nature begins growing in, on and over man's constructions. Beautiful!
