Hotel Gennarino

Hotel Gennarino, Liberty villa, eclectic style, viale Italia, LivornoWe have already shown you a five star and a four star hotel, just in case you happen to be in Livorno. Here is a relatively more modest choice, the three star “Hotel Gennarino”.Hotel Gennarino, Liberty villa, eclectic style, viale Italia, LivornoDefinitely a small castle, this building is obviously part of the series on “Viale Italia”.Hotel Gennarino, Liberty villa, eclectic style, viale Italia, LivornoThe hotel is just opposite the “Accademia Navale”, within walking distance of several “bagni” (beach resorts).

Vogon, this is wonderful. One great building after the other. Really nice! I think I would gladly stay there.

This would suit me very, very nicely. Well done, VP. You are my favorite Livorno travel guide.

Now I'm convinced you went to Disneyland or Epcot. These are amazing. I know where to stay when I come to Livorno. The first looks surreal with that sky, and the second two ... I already said Disney. But Disney would ruin it in some way. These are real, and they are really something!!! Or are they, like Neuschwansten, exaggerated and built at a later period?

You are a show-off! How can I compete with this gorgeous structure?

But this is a small castle, not a villa, right?

With turrets!

Why only a three-star hotel? It looks very, very nice and like you say, close to the "bagni."

Very neat I've never seen anything like it. Although it sort of reminds me of something I was saw that was built with Legos.
You have so many interesting buildings to see.

This is 3 star? Definitely my favorite hotel so far. Who awards the stars?

I will remember this place!:-)
The style is fantastic, but is it typical Italian??
You have so many beautiful hotels, and I have been to some in the area around Sorrento/Amalfi. Some where fare too expensive for me, but a drink, a coffee and sometimes lunch at these places was just some of the best memories to take with me back home. Some places also had the most magnificent gardens....
I seriously have to explore more of your country....

Gorgeous sky always :). It is no doubt an excellent hotel. Now I'm waiting for the second star hotel if it does exist. That suits me more :).

Three stars sounds perfectly fine, especially with a building this interesting!

Lovely light on the building in the first photo, but that sky of yours looks ominous.

What beautiful details and I do like that color! It certainly does not seem modest to me.

These grey & stormy skies with the brillant sunlight -- simply extraordinary. Fantastic to have experienced & to have captured in a photograph.

Looks like you have a castle in the middle of the neighborhood :) Love the tops!

Great sky in that first one, VP and you have used its light very well on that building.

I would gladly stay in this "modest" hotel. It looks absolutely delightful!

Fantastic house. I would also like to have a look inside.

What a beautiful building, I'm surprised it is only a three star hotel. I would happily stay there. The first photo looks like a movie scene, with that dramatic sky forecasting some great events are about to unfold :)
