Back to the normal facades on “Viale Italia”, where we have this time our first, but not last, case of twin villas. The buildings are painted different colors, like twins who wish to dress differently.

Ours is a twin villa, too; also painted different colors.
But methinks these are a bit more ornate and fancy. And, we're also missing turrets!
I'd really enjoy seeing what they look like inside.
Maybe you could knock on the door and tell the owner you know this character who lives in a twin villa in Ocala, Florida and he wants to see the inside.
Hey, what could they do? Throw you out?
Heh, heh!
Vogon, great villas! Wonderful.
I'll talk to my identical twin brother, Luther, and see if he wants to move there! He's kind of a "home body" so I doubt it...
Twins but not identical--good one!
Oh these are cool, like semi detached houses in Britain. And that dramatic sky...
Your fire post was excellent photo-journalism, good thing no one was injured.
The building is beautiful, but that sky overpowers it in this photo. Looks like a scene in a movie where the gods are gathering their forces to zap someone down on earth!
They are lovely and even trees in the first photo seem to be similar!
Amazing villas!! I love the top photo with the big trees.
Adorable villa!I liked the two views!
I bet a building there is very expensive!

Oh. I didn't realize they were twin villas. Very well done. We call them a duplex here. Your comment made me smile, as usual.
Great looking design. Were these two built as separate homes or were they always divided. I know there must be a story behind them...brothers?
I like the idea of these villas being twins. Very funny! The sky looks pretty menacing as well. Did the twins get some rain?
I wonder if the neighbours get on.

Beautiful Shot !! Both the buildings are looking great !!
You have to enlarge the pics to see how beautiful is the twin villas architecture!
Seeing photos like this always makes me try to imagine who the people living in there actually are... Friends or foes, trying to be more colorful than the neighbor, trying to be different... Who knows.
Villas in the sun, cars in the shadow. First things first.
I'll take the cream colored one. The cars in the shadow make for a great photo - total realism, but focus is still on the gorgeous villas.
PS - do I have a choice of one? I think the cream colored will suit me best. ;)
Or is it like neighbors who want to look different and each is sure he/she has the best color :) Very cool sight!
Beautiful villas! I always wished I had a twin, but I guess I'd want to be a little different after awhile, too :)
Semi-detached villas? That's an oxymoron - what's the point?
The dark skies really add drama to an otherwise serene setting.
Hahaha! Twins, yes. At least one side isn't wearing a garish red and the other pink ;-)
I like them. I guess they are too ornate to be called a duplex! I also like the fact that they are painted different colors. Very nice!
I think it's funny about the paint. The buildings continue to be stunning, and the sky is just marvellous! It's one of my favorite things - light foreground against dark sky.
Such an atmospheric clouds & light. Truly romantic in the sense meant by 19th century artists.
Cute. I have an example like this in Bucharest, maybe I'll post it.
You've captured these twins well in word and image.
