The last day of the 27th TAN, the boats are back after the last race. It's late afternoon, time for farewell and goodbyes. Some kind of parties on board the bigger boats, but you have to leave your shoes behind.

I love these photo, VP. The various bits of red stand out dramatically against the greys and blues. Re the shoes - looks like a lot of women's footgear...hmm...fun parties!
Thanks for your lovely comments, Trillian!
A wish for a great Sunday to both of you!
@ Jacob - We hope it will be a great Sunday: we're leaving for Rome in the morning and we'll stay there until the end of the week.
Great photos! I love the last one of the shoes. There is definitely a story behind that scene!
Beautiful pictures. Love boat parties. Have a nice trip to Rome.
I see an English contestant judging by the flag
Excellent photos. love the last one with the shoes.
Interesting remark on my post. Everyone wants the bridge renamed---it seems nobody seems to care for the General at all and no wonder. There have been scathing letters to the editor about it. Hopefully it will be renamed. MB
It's ok and you are right. MB
Have a great time in Roma and greetings from the other banana republic.
these are wonderful. you catch that after race energy to perfection here.
Best wishes to you and Trillian. Have a great Roman holiday!
All three photos have a story to tell. Looks like lots and lots of fun!
I like the pile of shoes. Hope they don't get stolen!!
Nothing quite like the parties that sailors throw.
I'd gladly remove my shoes if I could join the party on board! Fantastic boats!
Those guys looks very busy in that first shot! Beautiful day, great event and wow I also can see some "havaianas sandals ( from Brazil )"in that last shot! :)
A great Sunday!
hugs
Léia
Nice shots, and I enjoyed the last photo with the shoes & sandals too!;-)
Maybe it's a Japanese boat. We always take our shoes off! :D
I love the photo of the shoes, never seen anything like it!
The last shot looks like the entry of a mosque! :-)
