Fairplay-33

Tug Fairplay-33, IMO 9476006, port of Livorno
Not sure what this huge tug was doing in our port: the 49-meter “Fairplay-33” is described as an ‘anchor handling’, ‘deep sea & long distance tug’.

Anchor handling's a new term to me.

I think this is beautiful. It's big and tough and exciting and looks like it could handle just about anything. Maybe it's in your port for some emergency repairs?

This picture gives a whole new meaning to "tugboat."

That has got to be the biggest tug boat I've ever seen. Impressive!

I find Fairplay an interesting name for a boat...

I think this might be a favourite tug photo for me. I wish I knew all the words in English to describe what I want to say but I'm too lazy tonight to even look them up!

It is the largest one I've seen too! Tough ships!

Built for some really heavy lifting.

For sure not an everyday tugboat!
