Looks great!
You must have photographed this,
on a very quiet day (?)
Anyway, the windows above the doors are very small.
I find that a bit strange.

Gunn - It was 11 AM on a Sunday...

What a grand, old structure.

This is very similar to the town hall of a small city in the Val Sugana, at first I thought you were there...

Do they ever ring the bell?

VP said...

Karl - I need a photo of that!
Dina - They actually did it in 2006, for the 400th birthday of Livorno as a city.

There is a certain elegance about this building. I like the shutters but also wonder about the small windows in the middle tier.

I especially like the bell tower.

Thanks VP. A city's 400th birthday is good reason to ring bells!
