Always enjoying his work.
Please have a good Tuesday.
It is a nice capture VP.
El Greco is a name that I certainly know, but I have seen very few of his works in person. (I have never been to Spain yet.) I guess I have just gone to the wrong museums.
Love that face.
I hope you had the chance see the artworks.
I love him!
Like Jack, I know the name and I bet I have seen some of his works..quite heavy and religious if I remember rightly.
I would like to visit this museum!
Léia
He looks pretty serious in this portrait.
How was the show?
He was a great painter. Some suggest that his unique style may have been influenced by astigmatism, perhaps. It doesn't matter. He was still great. Good photo of a fine sign.
Oh would really like to see this one!
El Greco, his painting adorns a chapel in the St. John BaHarim Franciscan church in Ein Kerem. It is one of their treasures.
The El Greco museum was only a space temporarily named after the Greek painter: I have no idea what they were showing there...
El Greco is so surprisingly modern I think. I'm always amazed when I see his works. Shame there wasn't an exhibition.
Actually what was this Effetto Venezia event? I also believed it was an exhibition there! AnyhowI like the board used for advertising.
