And I can't remember the last time I had cassata! This is making my mouth water!
I am almost 'drooling' VP (it's not pretty believe me!)cannoli is one of my very favorite type of sweets, please have one pour moi!!
Delicious!!!
Could you close me in that shop for a night?
These are pretty, but not tempting to me. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, unless it's chocolate! :)
I would be in paradise here too, not only on cheese land! :-)
Oh yes, the cassata looks... hmm, I can almost taste it.
Yummy! Looks both pretty AND tasty!:)
So that's what cassata is!
I remember vendors walking the beaches near Tel Aviv with a box slung over their shoulder, shouting "Cassata, cassata!" In Hebrew it referred to ice cream bars, I'm pretty sure.
I live your version better, so pretty.
Dina - You are right. That is why we specify cassata siciliana: cassata is the ice cream...
Looks delicious VP. I never had cassata.
Each one looks like something I would like to taste. Beautiful photos for some delectable food to try.
OK, good! I'm glad we have an Italian word in Hebrew.
You need to send me some of that!
I'm sure I would forget my diet! They are all delicious!
