A lion head is a strange ornament for a door...
The corner of “Via della Voltina” with “Via Strozzi”.
Is this a doorbell or something else?
Same street, a covered balcony with flowers.
A sign on the fish market building: “Tyrrhenian fish consortium”.

Great walk again. Love the lion's head!
great shots VP...that is one large lion guarding that door...pipes and peach, pink, salmon, great color whatever shade it is, like the vertical, horizontal lines...that's some clapper on that bell no matter what it's for...always enjoy balconies with flowers...the fish market sign is that fired clay? someone created a work of art with rolled clay...nice!
Excellent. I really like that bell.
It's great how you keep finding new surprises at every corner of your town.
Great collection VP, so much to see on your walks..I wouldn't mind having a lions head on my door..!!
I like your nice finds!
_ enjoy the weekend!
a very good walk you've taken us on today, vp. thanks.
The lion's head looks as if it might have been "saved" from the side of a building or some similar spot. Nice!
I like the doorbell, it looks so rural.
A curious, idiosyncratic "via"... Full of surprises!
God bless you!

Such lovely discoveries! I love this lion head, even if it's a bit unusual, and the goose bell is so terrific!
Che originalità ci sono in giro...anche i cavi alla fine diventano un groviglio d'arte moderna!! Ciao, Arianna
Fascinating detail shots. I like especially the network of pipes on the corner building. You have such a wonderful eye for vignettes VP.
That may be the weirdest door I've ever seen! But very creative :D
Great details. Love the entranceway on top.
Meraviglioso. I've hopped over from Robert's blog.~Mary
