The Mascagni Museum of the Municipality of Livorno. The notice says that the museum is closed until the preparation of a new exhibition route. Someone scribbled on the bottom: “It has been closed for years!”The overall appearance of the place is not very good anyway...

No, it doesn't look very good, VP, but that is in large part due to the graffiti that people have scribbled on the walls.
... a sad reflection on the times.
It's sad! I hope the museum opens soon!
I wonder if the art is patiently waiting inside.
The signs explained a lot about the place. The texture within revealed the era where things were sitting at.
Hopefully one day it will be restored to it's former glory, or at least made a bit more presentable!!
I just hate graffiti like this.
Sad images VP.
it looks deserted...
Signs of the times.
The museum is not high priority, it appears.
Obviously not a priority...
They should let you in with your camera.
Oh, this is rather sad!
Vergogna...l'ennesima occasione culturale persa! Ciao, Arianna
Hopefully it will open soon. I like Italy's tradition of public commentary via graffiti... since the days of the talking statues in Rome :^)
Oh gosh, it's a pity it has been closed for years, people would like to visit the museum.
I hope they can reopen there soon. But first I imagine the place needs some restoration.

It seems that the new 'exhibition routes' are now at the “Teatro Goldoni”, but you can see them only after prior reservation.
Well, doesn't look VERY inviting:)
Well, with similar situations here, you know I can not be surprised...

I wonder how long they've been closed. It doesn't look like anyone is taking care of it...so sad.
