Silos Ardenza

Silos Ardenza, LivornoI don't know much about the “Silos Ardenza”: it is a battery of tall grain silos inside the cargo port, visible from almost everywhere in town.Silos Ardenza seen from the Pamiglione, LivornoThe huge structure has nothing to do with the quarter of Ardenza, practically on the opposite side of Livorno.

Pretty, especially the lower photo.

You were right in your comment. I re-checked the label for the sculpture (I took a photo of it to remind me) and it indeed is Bacchante and Infant Faun. I was wondering why Bacchus seemed so feminine!

Such lovely puffy clouds. Is Livorno a grain port?

While I am not so much in industrial photo, I like the second one very much :)

Have a nice weekend, VP!

Love that scene with the silo in the clouds.
Big silos are always fascinating, like the big Dagan silo in Haifa Port.

@ Gunn - I forgot a disclaimer: the first photo was taken in early October and the second one in late July, last year.

Unfortunatelly silos are always big and can be seen from everywhere. We have many on the south bank of the Tagus, right in front of Lisbon...
