The power of advertisements, I guess they have to get the word out somehow. I like the Zebra one best. So vivid.

@ Randy - The ads above the butcher's sign are from a clothes store in the same building.

Too bad to see Santa with a gun!

Great walk VP, I like the image of "Via Cairoli".

Looks as if there's something new beginning. And yes, the Santa surely knows something more. A thoughtful walk indeed.

Please have you all a good new week.

That sure is an odd collection, VP. I like the view down Via Cairoli, I winced at Santa, I am wondering about why the zebra crossing sign is disconnected, I agree about too many signs, and I am mystified about the girls and the butcher shop.

I like the photo with too many signs, especially the sign just leaning against the wall.

Heh. Glad you explained the "flesh" signs. Funny. This is definitely a crazy walk - and fun, especially since I didn't have to use my sore feet.

There's a lot going on in the top photo...ordinary everyday street scenes that we often miss. Although the sculpture in the distance cannot be considered ordinary, I looked at the bus, the car, the pedestrian with the pink bag among those objects that we might miss if we are not observant.

What a funny collection of photos. I would not buy anything at gunpoint, unless it were a real gun, but a real Santa would never have a gun.

What a crazy walk you had. I like the one with all the signs it should be called 'which way is up'. LOL Mb

I love the first one, so Italian. The last one is a stroke of genius and the other ones are fun, real fun. Excellent! Buona settimana!

At least santa is smiling!

I like the picture of the corner with too many signs, especially because I think it's fairly common here in Italy :)

A nice view of the city in the first photo! The inspiration of a menacing, brutal Santa Fe seems to me a failure of marketing techniques...

I love this walk, it simply made my day - the last photo is my favourite,I can't stop laughing:)

Very interesting indeed. I guess the clothing/butchers shop did not realize what kind of statement it looks like they're making!

Hmmm. Looks like Livorno is over-run with signs...just like here in Canada!

I like the street scene because it shows how narrow some of the streets are there. They were not made for speeding cars.

That's the Santa we all love!

Perfect title, VP... crazy indeed. Gave me a chuckle. I especially liked the fresh meat/flesh sign with the fashion ads prominently displayed over it.

these are wonderful.

Many shop owners would feel the need of having the Santa poster 'forcing' you to buy now. I've just heard that (more) 29 shops have closed in Lisbon in January... and surely many more will be added to this sad list soon.
