My first Sunday walk after the Holidays begins with a facade in “Via Oberdan”, seen from “Via Sproni”.An enigmatic wreath in “Via dell'Olmo” (Elm Street).Same street, a Santa hopelessly stuck outside a window......and another Santa trapped inside a house, behind bars.In Elm Street you can find an orange tree.
They wrote “Buon Natale” (Merry Christmas) all for themselves...

This is so funny! Some nice captures, and with a mind that finds the humor! Nice captions. I love those Italian shutters, too.
Beautiful photos for the Fourth Day of Christmas!!
So cute! I can tell that wreath was made in China - I have one with similar stuff on it. And the window static stickers probably come from China - mine are. I think they moved the North Pole there :)The Santa hanging on the window is lots of fun!
Funny observations. The Santas stuck to the window or rapped behind bars should have used the chimneys.
I guess the people who wrote on the inside of the window couldn't figure out how to write backwards. I guess not everyone can be as clever as Leonardo da Vinci.
Looks like a very nice and fun walk, the pictures are proof of this.
Very nice walk. You brought a smile to my faces. Once again sweet pictures and smart words.
Poor Santa---I hope he finds his way home to the North Pole. MB
You've an eye for sweet and quirky details! Love the little santa hanging out the window ;)
Lovely photos and very cute.
Cheers.

Uh this is such a funny post!
The first one reeks Italy!
These set of pictures are so cute!
Poor SANTA he is still hanging on the window! LOL

I am glad you like some of the images from our major yacht race, VP. I actually thought of you and your boat-fetish when I was deciding what to post and how to put it all together. There will be 4 posts covering the race. Tomorrow will be people but the next two will be all vessels. Hope you enjoy them!
Fun images, fun comments. Must have been a good sunday walk.
Orange tree! There's something you couldn't find here.
The Santa stuck outside window is lovely.
Nice weekend to you:)
Poor ol' Santa gets stuck in some of the most outrageous places!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry about that last photo.
What a nice walk you had! The picture of Santa trying to get inside is really funny.
You made some fun discoveries on your after Christmas walk! They should have written Buon Natale the other way for visitors to see!
really funny serie , the last one particulary ;)
I dream of someday walking that street, or any Italian street, with or without decorations.
I'm sure I would enjoy hanging out at Elm Street, I know I wouldn't have a nightmare on THIS ONE! :-)))
Funny signs - especially the people who only say Buon Natale to themselves! Hee!!
The second, third and fourth photo look so North American! (The second one must belong to someone who skis in the Alps?) Thank goodness you posted the oranges and the inside-out Buon Natale so I'd remember you're in Livorno. :)
All that fuss for 2 days of something. Lovely photos of the distressed Santas.
Nice!!:-)
Lovely photos, and even an ORANGE tree!:-)
Oh man! I am so jealous! I want to live in a place where there are oranges on trees in December. Snow & cold is what we have in December in new England.
How often is there snow in Via dell'Olmo...? ;)
That's a great selection of holiday snaps! Hope you had a Buon Natale :-)
Nice series. The hanging Santas seemed to be very popular in Bucharest this year, I've seen lots of them hanging from windows. Oranges for Christmas, that's nice :)
