It is not enough cold to keep people from using their boats, as you can see in these pictures taken last week.
We can observe their clothing while they are coming back to port.
Maybe in a hurry to get something warm, after some time at sea.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Not for me. It's -3 here, not going out in a boat. Thank You! Ha!
The water looks a beautiful blue. But I don't think I am up to that either.
It doesn't look very warm, VP! In fact, it would appear downright chilly - and the chill would be worse on the water!
What are these folks doing - just joyriding or fishing?
I always enjoy your boating photos...and these are excellent...the water is so enticing, but probably a bit too cold to swim in.
Lovely as it is, I shiver just looking at these photo's!
I can imagine the cold water and wind there, but I guess they are ocean lovers so that they can't resist!
Your pictures are wonderful and I loved that beautiful blue colour in all!

It looks cold & nice!:-)
There isn't much that would keep me from enjoying my boat, especially with such a gorgeous blue all around!
They either really need to be out on the water or truly love being there. It doesn't look like it would be much fun all bundled up like that with a cold wind smacking you. Nevertheless these are really good shots.
I'm beginning to shiver just looking at your photos.
Lovely clear sunny day, VP. Doing what they love best in the world. I bet they love it. Wind in their face. Fingers numb with cold. And then a nice hot toddy.
And the sun won't be much help at this time of year.
It looks cold to me, but maybe I'm imagining that the temperatures here are the same as there. But wait! It cannot be as cold there - we now have tons of ice. :)
All you need to do is dress correctly! But it looks a bit on the cold side.
They look like they're freezing!!
I like the look and composition of the first shot!
I'd be willing to hitchhike a ride as long as there's some hot tea waiting for me back at port.
