You probably remember the exterior of “Santa Caterina”, not one of the best church façades you have ever seen.
A few days ago I sneaked inside to shoot quickly some photos. There was not so much light and I was trying to push my camera on benches and against columns in search of some stability.
The results are not technically perfect, but I hope that you will appreciate how beautiful and rich is the interior of this church.
I'll try to repeat my intrusion but, as I already wrote, it is not easy to gain access to the city churches outside the time of mass.

Well done! Don't they offer any "visitor's hours" at all? Any inner city church here would be open to the public on most days.
The church interior is beautiful and there is a lot to photograph.
Do you own a monopod? They are inexpensive, unobtrusive, and can really help give stability to your camera in low-light situations when you don't want to, or cannot, use flash.
What a beautiful church. I know the feeling of being in such a marvallous place and not being able to photograph it. I refuse to use a flash in a holy place, so I often dial up the ISO and live with the noise.

The light is intriguing in that last shot. A case of selective sunlight, methinks.
