I saw this in Rome :-)they are amazing! I don't know the name, though, sorry.
It looks like a bottle brush
It's a Callistemon, better known as a Bottle Brush plant because of the shape of its flowers. They are all over Livorno at the moment too.
It reminds me of the bottle brush but I am not sure the color is the same. Nice photo though.
Beautifull flower, never seen it before
Outstandingly beautiful 'bottle brush' I would say:)
Have one in my neighbor's yard, a Bottle Brush.
No idea what it is - but it's pretty!
Lovely. I want to brush my fingertips over it.
It looks very similar to the bottle brush trees and bushes we have here...they are very pretty!Nice shot VP!
Non so il nome ma la foto รจ una bellezza!!!:-)
I had the same flower months ago and the same question. I too was told it was an Australian Bottle Brush. It's a beauty.
It is a beautiful color and does look like a real bottle brush to me.
Never seen or heard of a bottle brush before, but it definitely looks like one! Actually, it reminds me of the rambutan fruit. That, or those fiber optic Christmas trees which was all the rage here last year.
Most definitely a bottle-brush (calistemon). They come in many shades but the most common is scarlet. Some varieties are bushes and others are very large trees. They thrive in drier environments.
Really unique! I don't know the name of it but it is great!
