LOL! I like Moby Drea's curves better. Does Drea mean anything? Loved your Sylvester shot on MD.

It allways seem to be a battle between ship owners:-) Are they compensating, I wonder?

Are these ferries or cruise ships? Have you ever taken a cruise?

I'm enjoying your photos of the sea vessels

From your title and caption I am now wondering if “Moby Drea” is the translation in some language of the title of a Herman Melville classic novel.

I thought ships were female. These sound like males! ;D

I don't know what pine processionaries are and I couldn't find the scientific name for higad either, but a photo of the black fuzzy caterpillar which we call by that name is here.

Dueling prows...very cleverly composed, you.

With Silvester and friends, I don't think Mega Express will win the battle no matter how long its bulbous bow.

The angle of the shot is important but I'd give the blue ribbon to Moby Drea(m?)...whatever happened to Moby Dick?

Great creative shot, VP!

Is this some kind of size envy between boats?? ;)

@ Tash - I don't know, a short for Andrea?
@ Saretta - They are relatively comfortable ferries. No, I like cruise ships from the outside!
@ Tall Gary - Moby Lines had as a symbol a blue whale so all its ferries are called Moby Something.
@ Hilda - That was the joke...
@ Jacob - In this situation a Moby Dick would be too inappropriate...
