Lions Staircase

Entrance of Palazzo Squilloni, scali Cialdini, Livorno
Lions do not watch only gates, but also staircases: this is the majestic entrance of Palazzo Squilloni.

As we have already seen, the building entrance is on Scali Cialdini, but its side faces the Fosso Reale.

It is good that those lions are on guard. You wouldn't want those stairs to sneak away.
