Technically a poor photo, but I like this gull flying toward the sun.For a one-legged bird he seems quite at ease and even smug. One year later, the King of the Harbour is still on his rocky throne.
Technically poor? Not! A beautiful shot, actually! Like the gull, too, but the kitty is my favorite...he's been around a long time. Wonder who it belongs to?
The King's photo this year makes him look more alert than the one last year when he looks much too relaxed. What a "character" to have hanging around!!

I wouldn't say it's technically poor photo, first of all - for me is superb, and the King of the Harbour is terrific!!!!
Love the King!

That middle gull has great balance. I wonder if he's a victim of the king? :)
Well the King is still looking smug. Ahhh, the good life.
I like your Gull into the Sun photo. What do you mean 'technical'? Just take what you like and that is what says it is good. MB
I love them all. What fun.

Nice photos, and the KING is beautiful!
All three of these succeed beautifully!
I like the first gull ,well captured !
Each is full of personality and wonderful in his own way.
It will be a sad day when we no longer see the King of the Harbour on his throne. I hope you remember to take a picture of him every year.
I'm glad you posted the first photo. I love that his face is turned toward the sun too.
You'd think that gulls were a little too wide-bodied to stand on one leg. That made me smile.
I think the first shot is great! I like the title too.
The King of the Harbor is my favorite. Great catch of the local "wildlife"!
All of the pictures are so cute! I love it when birds stand on one foot like that--as if to say I can do this for hours and you can't!
Oh yes, the King indeed! What a majestic pose!
I like its camouflage! ;-)
I wish all my photos were that technically bad.
How DO birds stand on one leg? Their balance is so much better than mine! LOVE that kitty. It is a survivor.
Beautiful shot of the one-legged gull!
Wonderful photos - top one, very dramatic and love the cat.
Hello there King!
I love the flying gull. We have one near the office who is always in the dumpster eating trash & making a general mess.
