Oooooh. Especially photo #2. I can feel the water, seeing that reflection. Feel like I'm right there.

These are wonderful. The colors are amazing. And I love that first shot, that one would be enlarged and hanging on my wall for sure! Kathy

VP, about weather and wind on the Oregon coast, re: your comment:

http://tapirgalsdailyimage.blogspot.com/2010/01/oregon-coast.html

I'm subscribed to a weather warning on the Internet and during the winter months especially, we are constantly getting messages to stay away from the coast due to high winds. Of course, one wants to go look at the big waves, but maybe from a safe distance. There is a phenomenon called "sneaker waves" that are bigger than the usual, so it's unwise to get complacent about the hight of the usual surf at a spot like this.

Just look at that reflecting blue! The coral reef could be right below the surface! :-)

The chain pictures and reflected light are lovely - but the boat (sorry, ship) is quite shocking with all those cartoon characters!

Wonderful reflections, VP. The water is such a lovely shade of blue in the first two photos. Why
/are those cartoon characters painted on the ferry?
