Ocean Dream

Ocean Dream cruise ship, IMO 7915096, port of Livorno
The “Ocean Dream” is a cruise ship chartered to Peace Boat, a Japanese non-governmental organization, for a cruise around the world. I patiently waited for her departure from our port, but it was getting dark and this is all I got of the ship.

On the other hand I had plenty of time to take pictures of her passengers: some were milling around the ship listening to music and even fishing.

Others were clearly awed by the beauty of the port of Livorno.

The younger ones were obviously taking selfies...

Interesting how thin the ship's "skin" appears there at the bow.

Interesting, that concept of the Peace Ship, and as your link says, initiated by a Japanese student.
Nice to see here who was on board. People pictures are always fun.

Great perspective indeed! It seems Japanese tourists are less covered with clothes than they are here, which means they are not afraid of Livorno's sun. :-)
