An interesting walk today. I like the carousel, I've never been on a 2-storey model. Guess I'll have to wait for the stork to bring me some Italian wine. I prefer a nice San Giovese or a Nero d'Avola though. ;)
A two-tiered carousel is my idea of a wonderful ride. Terrific photos, but the child-in-me wants to ride on the carousel.
The carousel is spectacular and I have "hunted" them down in Paris (and beyond). I have seen and posted a few "double-deckers" but none more colorful and fine as this one. Kate (above) sent me over.
Your blog is beautiful and although I have been to Italy many times, I have not been to this western edge of Tuscany... yet

Hi VP, like everyone above I have not seen a two tiered carousel before either, so was wonderul to see, how cool would it be if the top and bottom levels went in opposite directions, or maybe not...it's making me a bit dizzy just thinking about it. Hope you enjoyed glass of vine at the end of your walk!!
