A view of the “Darsena Morosini” now part of the Benetti shipyard. The set of blue mechanic arms just beyond the first yacht (the 35m “Johanna”) is the new ship lift, inaugurated last January with its first launch. I used to be fascinated when our wooden fishing boat was lifted out of the water and always enjoyed painting it.
Like a fish out of water.
Now, for a delightful day at sea.
That has got to be the 'neatest' shipyard ever VP, it looks so organized and colour co-ordinated! The white and blue with touches of yellow, perfect!
An active shipyard like this one must provide constantly changing things to see.
