Colours are everywhere and when we need them the most. Thus, a grey day is never entirely grey if we keep our eyes open.

Sort of encouraging.

I love the colors in all three photos.

That's a good challenge and attitude toward life, to seek out color within the overall grayness.

Color and light - what photography is all about! Great job here. The witch is sooo very interesting. I'd also wonder what is the point? Maybe it's a hex on another sailor or ship?

Glad to hear you're having a great time! I'll look forward to seeing more wonderful photos from the "eternal" city.

A lot of color to be found for such a grey day.

Excellent shots.
When I was a kid we used to watch the old fishermen sitting on the dock by their boats repairing their nets.
My best friends family (when I was young) were fishermen and we were allowed to be on their boats. MB

In my opinion the last composition is a winner!

Ah, VP in an artsy mood. Well done. I like the yellow and blue against the gray on the top photo, but I agree with JM, the third gets the award today. (It's been a busy week for me; just catching up with blogging! Hope you two are having a great time in Rome.)
