Before Rome

A basket full of bobbins at the Sunday market. This is my last walk in Livorno for a while: since today, we will be in Rome for a couple of weeks.Today this bike was alone. Last Sunday there were three...The balcony of the “Palazzo Rosso” in “Piazza Cavour”.
A palm tree in “Via dei Carabinieri” (Carabinieri's Street).Do you remember the yellow mystery trailer? Now we know that it's a mobile fishmonger!

I had exactly the same bicycle when living in Ferrara, a quarter of a century ago. Spray-painted it black, basket included.

Thank you for giving us another lovely walk before you leave. I hope you have posts scheduled!

What struck me most in this collection is the mobile fishmonger. Ours are just on foot or, at most, on bicycles.

Enjoy your vacation in Rome and have a safe trip!
