That's a really powerful machine.
The top picture really shows the size, well I guess both picures do.

Nice shots. I like taking pictures of cranes, esp. red ones against blue skies :-)

These are wonderful shots, VP. They look as if they're doing a sort of crane dance. It's amazing how many of us are fascinated by cranes.

I should think you would need a calm day to move them any distance.

That is amazing and colorful!

I've never heard of one of these, but I've always been in awe of how really big machines function so well.

You do get a lot of interesting water traffic in Livorno!

If only you didn't include a heavy note about everything cranes, I would enjoy this 'red heavy lift ship' much way more :). Happy weekend.

They are so nice in red! We call them "crapauds" in harbours, I wonder why!

In the first photo they look like some kind of birds:)

Very nice photos - the red really stands out against the sky

I was just joking :)). I read some journals about cranes when at uni. Your post reminded me of C mark I got on the last exam :).

We have crane carriers in Astoria, too, but not so big and not so red! I love these photos - the colors and shapes are really attractive.
