Greetings from Livorno

Greetings from Livorno, Saluti da Livorno, vintage postcard
Greetings from Livorno! We are back from Venice,
Freccia Argento, Santa Lucia Station, Venice
but our train, as far as Florence, was more like this one.

Bet it's a fast train.

Welcome home.
That's a sleek electric train. But the old ones were so much more exciting, as conveyed by your postcard. I remember the steam locomotives from early childhood in Chicago.

A modern train for sure and I LOVE the postcard, it's wonderful!
I'm curious to see the pictures of your trip!

I think the train on the second photo is the faster one.

Steam versus sleek, I think I would choose the latter just for the time taken VP, really good second image.

At school we learned that Italian trains always leave on time......

I hope you have had a good time in Venice!
