Four Tugs

I enjoy watching the tugboats work here on the Willamette River each June when some Canadian Navy and US Navy ships come to dock here in Portland, Oregon, during the yearly Rose Festival. It's amazing what they can accomplish, isn't it?

I just LOVE these shots of the tugs at work. I can almost hear them, too. Wonderful!

And, I recognized the shape of that bow on the right. Just love seeing her! The MS Sovereign is the former MS Sovereign of the Seas, recently transferred from Royal Caribbean to Pulmantur in Europe. We sailed on her many times. We sailed on her sister ship Majesty of the Seas for six years before transferring to Freedom of the Seas. Nice!

Wonderful images VP, it's so amazing that the little tugs can maneuver a ship of such size..they are such strong little boats. I love to watch this procedure.
