The Bather

Winter bather, Terrazza Mascagni, LivornoDecember 31st: we were wearing wool hats and scarves, but this brave guy was going for a plunge from the jetty of the “Terrazza Mascagni”.

A lot of people in Sweden doing the same thing. I think the water temperature up her was around 4C.

I thought about it, as we had almost 20 degrees, but I decided not to join the crowd of tough and hardened grannies and grandpas doing it... Had a vin chaud instead.
