The funny sign of a “pizzeria” on our “lungomare”.Not exactly by the sea, but still by the water along the canal on the “Scali delle Ancore”.This unusual kind of sign marks a pub facing the “Darsena Nuova” (New Harbor). In background the swing bridge.

food keeps body, mind and soul together.
please have a good wednesday.
Love that pub sign:)
Great signs VP!
I'm almost positive that I'd enjoy the Pizza Parlor!
I like the barge sign, but it doesn't look Italian to me.
Are you sure you are in Italy? :)
Love the PUB - BAR sign and the bridge in the distance. The "a go-go" sign is a real eyecatcher.
Ah, yes, down by the sea is always good - and a river does when there's not sea nearby. :)
J'adore le Pizza Rouge!

Pizza, I am there!
Pizza indigestion? The pub sign is great, so is the view towards the bridge!
I liked the "happy and bright" pizza sign. The pub sign looked very English, and the last one looked more like I would have to dive to find the places:)
I guess that salty sea air makes people hungry and thirsty.
Your signs are not to be missed.
Excellent group of images VP, I bet that 'swing bridge' looks impressive when it opens! LOve the pub/bar sign. btw thought of you and Malyss when I took my picture posted today!!
I find signs from around the world fascinating. I love this series, and the one previously. Wonderful details that tell the story of a place.
The barge is my favourite!
The Pizza a Go-Go made me smile and I like the view in the bridge shot.
I love that last shot! Great view ;D
The pizza sign is a winner! I like it!
More interesting signs. I'd like to try the Pizza a Go Go. :)
I like the new header!
Rieccomi dopo la breve vacanza! Mi son rimessa in pari con le ultime foto: ancore, teste finte, foto d'epoca, insegne...non saprei scegliere! Ciao, Arianna
