Baby-foot géant

Giant table football in a canal, LivornoLooking at this you may rightly suspect that some of the Livornesi are speaking with forked tongue professing their love for France. This is a giant table football installed in a canal of our Venezia to reenact the 2006 World Cup final, when Italy won over France.Giant table football in a canal, LivornoThe players look slightly stoned and their respective tricolors are obviously upside down, but the ultimate affront to our transalpine cousins was to rename this place “Fosso Platini”.

Funny! In English we call "babyfoot" "fussball" but in German it's "kicker"!
In any case, these are quite cute. ;)

Oh wow! At first I thought it had some subtle meaning. Now I see the only thing missing is a couple of players and beer!

So very cool. :) Love the images.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's nice to meet you.
