August Walk

Chairs around a table on the stage of “Caballeria Rusticana”.A old-fashioned and dilapidated sign in “Via Magenta”.Have you ever heard of a low-cost herbalist's shop?A “cantina” on the “Fosso Reale” near “Piazza Cavour”.A yellow mystery trailer, with a painted porthole.

Wonderful and a very "picturesque" walk.

They are all interesting, but number 1 AND 5 are just superb!
(I sometimes work in a bookshop, and all the people buying guidebooks about the north of Italy I recommend to take the time and visit Livorno....)

You are so darn creative! These are every one very special. I love all the lines in the first one, the rusty old light and sign in the second, the unreality of the third, the slightly scary "cantina" in the fourth, and that port-holed trailer is too much. Maybe it's used by the cops to spy on the bad guys?

They're all great compositions, VP!

I think that you have a good eye for unusual objects and the skill to enhance them with excellent composition.

Le botteghe low cost sono quelle dove ti pesano le borse della spesa quando entri e se pesano troppo te le devi fa' porta' da un corrierino rapido

The "mystery trailer" is quite a winner, but I also especially like the crazy lines in the top photo.

Oooh that's one of my favourite walks. The low-cost herbalist is incredible! Shame the old sign is dilapidated, it could be very nice.

What tapirgal calls crazy lines is what to me looks like a big oriental fan. I like it. It's strange to me not only that a small shop would advertise "low cost" - I mean, do they get volume discounts? - but also that the sign is in English. Like everyone else, I'd gladly take this walk with you, VP.

Hee! I think we could make up some good stories for these photos.

I especially like the chair and the fans. The lines are really great.
