This is a nice journey you took us on. So many interesting things to look at! That bike wheel speaks volumes. I've often thought how easy it would be just to take a bike and leave the wheel...heck you can buy a wheel cheaply enough.

We have some "dog parks" here, too, but we don't use them...

And that narrow street doesn't leave much room for anything but bikes and a few people.

But I love the dogs on the roof. How do they get them up there and how do they stay up there in high winds?

Fun post, VP!

Ah a nice walk. The wheel without a bike, so sad but somehow funny... and a lovely dog park! I only see one dog, no friends to play with. The “Via della Ragnaia” is very appealing - and you start and end the walk with animals, very fun and colorful.

That was a nice little trip and it does look like spring there. I would like to revisit Via della Ragnaia someday. :)

Spiderwebbery Street? Great name. :)

The washed animals add such a human touch. Wonderful find.

@ James - I took the wheel and the dog area pictures at noon, with some sun still around. All the others were taken in the afternoon, when it was raining on and off.

Once again you have a array of wonderful photos! The first photo with all the stuffed animals is adorable. That is one lucky kid, or maybe they just have many kids :)

What an interesting tour.
Spring is here but we are waiting for Mother Nature to decide it was time for a late winter freeze. She is fun that way. MB

I don't think that I have ever seen guard dogs on a roof.

Lol, what a great walk again, too bad for the bike owner. I am really surprised that there isn't a Smart or Cinquecento parked in that street. I just love the first photo. It is kind of poetic and could be the cover of a children's book.

One feels so much safer with some dogs on one's roof!

That bicycle wheel made my heart sink! I was imagining how awful the owner must have felt when he found it! I like the idea of alleys where cars don't fit, though I imagine they are probably scary at night.

Stuffed animals - too funny. How do you wash them? Not in a washing machine, I don't think.

Love that narrow spider web street - so colorful.

Nice series, I can feel that spring is in the air. I have a couple of photos with parts of bicycles still chained but the main part missing; one was taken in Paris and one in Rome. Looks like the whole of Europe is plagued by this phenomenon :)

Can't wait for spring cleaning.

Some familiar looking scenes here.

Funny post, as always, a fun walk in Livorno. The animals are smiling, so the bath couldn't have been too traumatic.
